Modern Smart Fortwo models use an electronic drive-by-wire throttle, which can create a noticeable delay between pressing the accelerator and the vehicle responding. Pedal Commander modifies that electronic throttle signal, allowing the car to react more quickly to pedal input without making changes to the engine itself.
 
The system plugs directly into the factory accelerator pedal connection using OEM-style connectors for a clean, straightforward installation. Choose from Eco, City, Sport, and Sport+ modes, with multiple sensitivity settings within each mode, so you can dial in the throttle feel that works best for you.
 
For BRAAP customers building a lifted Smart, Pedal Commander is an easy way to complement the suspension, wheel, and tire upgrades with a more responsive driving experience. Larger off-road tires and added rotational weight can sometimes make a Smart feel a little less eager off the line. While Pedal Commander doesn't add horsepower, the sharper throttle response can make the vehicle feel quicker and more responsive when you get on the pedal.
